§58‑2‑171. Qualifications of actuaries.
The Commissioner may adoptrules setting forth requisite qualifications of consulting actuaries for thesole purpose of qualifying them to certify financial statements filed and ratefilings made by entities under this Chapter as to the actuarial validity ofthose filings. The qualifications shall be commensurate with the degree ofcomplexity of the actuarial principles applicable to the various statementsfiled or rate filings made. Nothing in this section affects the scope ofpractice or the professional qualifications of actuaries. (1995,c. 517, s. 2.)
