§55B‑13. Suspension or revocation of certificate of registration.
A licensing board may suspendor revoke a certificate of registration issued by it to a domestic or foreignprofessional corporation for any of the following reasons:
(1) Upon the failure ofsuch corporation to promptly remove or discharge an officer, director,shareholder or employee who becomes disqualified by reason of the revocation orsuspension of his license to practice; or
(2) Upon a finding bythe licensing board that the professional corporation has failed to comply withthe provisions of this Chapter or the regulations of the licensing board.
Upon the suspension orrevocation of a certificate of registration issued to a professionalcorporation, such corporation shall cease forthwith to render professionalservices, and the Secretary of State shall be notified to the end that thecorporation may be removed from active status and remain as such untilreinstatement.
