§23‑9. Creditors to file verified claims with clerk; false swearingmisdemeanor.
All creditors of the maker ofsuch deed of trust shall, before receiving payment of any amount from the saidtrustee, file with the clerk of the superior court a statement under oath thatthe amount claimed by him is justly due, after allowing all credits andoffsets, to the best of his knowledge and belief.
