§23‑41. Surety in bond may surrender principal.
The surety in any bondconditioned for the appearance of any person under this chapter may surrenderthe principal, or such principal may surrender himself, in discharge of thebond, to the sheriff or other officer of any court where such principal isbound to appear, in the manner provided in the chapter entitled CivilProcedure, article Arrest and Bail.
