§ 20‑4.30. Constructionand severability.
This Article shall beliberally construed to effectuate its purposes. The provisions of this Articleare severable; if any part of this Article is declared to be invalid by acourt, the invalidity does not affect other parts of this Article that can begiven effect without the invalid provision. If the Drivers License Compact isdeclared invalid by a court in a member state, the compact remains in fullforce and effect in the remaining member states and in full force and effectfor all severable matters in that member state.
