§ 20-16.01. Double penalties for offenses committed while operating a commercial motor vehicle.

§ 20‑16.01.  Doublepenalties for offenses committed while operating a commercial motor vehicle.

Any person who commits anoffense for which points may be assessed pursuant to the Schedule of PointValues for Violations While Operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle as provided inG.S. 20‑16(c) may be assessed double the amount of any fine or penaltyauthorized by statute. (1999‑330, s. 8.)
