§ 164-7. Statutes not repealed.
§ 164‑7. Statutesnot repealed.
The General Statutes of North Carolina shall not have the effect ofrepealing statutes or provisions of statutes which affect only a particularlocality, public‑local or private statutes, statutes exempting pendinglitigation from operation of statutes, statutes relating to the boundary of theState or of any county, acts ceding or relating to the ceding of lands of theState to the federal government, statutes relating to the Cherokee lands,statutes relating to the construction or interpretation of statutes, statutesby virtue of which bonds have been issued and are outstanding on the effectivedate of the General Statutes, validating acts or curative statutes, or actsgranting pensions to named individuals if such statutes were in force on theeffective date of the General Statutes.
