§ 156‑55. Venue; special proceedings.
When the lands proposed to be drained and created into a drainagedistrict are located in two or more counties, the clerk of the superior courtof either county has the jurisdiction conferred by this Subchapter. Venue is inthat county in which the petition is first filed. The law and the rulesregulating special proceedings apply in the proceeding, except as modified bythis Subchapter.
