§ 153A‑365. Defects in buildings to be corrected.
If a local inspector finds any defect in a building, or finds that thebuilding has not been constructed in accordance with the applicable State andlocal laws and local ordinances and regulations, or finds that a buildingbecause of its condition is dangerous or contains fire‑hazardousconditions, he shall notify the owner or occupant of the building of itsdefects, hazardous conditions, or failure to comply with law. The owner and theoccupant shall each immediately remedy the defects, hazardous conditions, orviolations of law in the property each owns. (1969, c. 1066, s. 1; 1973, c. 822, s. 1.)
