§ 153A‑267. Qualifications of chief librarian; library employees.
(a) To be eligible for appointment and service as chiefadministrative officer of a library system (whether designated chief librarian,director of library services, or some other title), a person must have aprofessional librarian certificate issued by the Secretary of CulturalResources, pursuant to G.S. 125‑9, under regulations for certification ofpublic librarian as established by the North Carolina Public LibrarianCertification Commission pursuant to the provisions of G.S. 143B‑67.
