§148‑12. Diagnostic and classification programs.
(a) The Department ofCorrection shall, as soon as practicable, establish diagnostic centers to makesocial, medical, and psychological studies of persons committed to theDepartment. Full diagnostic studies shall be made before initialclassification in cases where such studies have not been made.
