§147‑7. Traveling expenses on State's business.
When, to efficiently andproperly carry into effect and execute any of the duties imposed by hisappointment or by the provision of any statute of this State, and provide forthe expenses thereof, it is required that any officer of the State or anyemployee of any department thereof shall travel from place to place, suchtraveling and other expenses as shall be required shall be approved by saidofficer or head of the department whose employee incurs such expenses.
