§ 143B‑333. North Carolina Trails Committee creation; powers and duties.
There is hereby created the North Carolina Trails Committee of theDepartment of Environment and Natural Resources. The Committee shall have thefollowing functions and duties:
(1) To meet not less than two times annually to advise theDepartment on all matters directly or indirectly pertaining to trails, theiruse, extent, location, and the other objectives and purposes of G.S. 113A‑88.
(2) To coordinate trail development among local governments, andto assist local governments in the formation of their trail plans and advisethe Department of its findings.
(3) To advise the Secretary of trail needs and potentialspursuant to G.S. 113A‑88. (1973, c. 1262, s. 80; 1977, c. 771, s. 4; 1989, c. 727, s. 218(145);1997‑443, s. 11A.119(a).)
