§ 143‑286.1. Nutbush Conservation Area.
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources is herebyauthorized to enter into lease agreements with the proper agencies of thefederal government covering the marginal land area of the John H. Kerr Reservoiror so much thereof as may be necessary or desirable in order to develop saidarea for park purposes and to carry on a program of conservation, forestrydevelopment and wildlife protection. The area so obtained shall be known as theNutbush Conservation Area. The Department of Environment and Natural Resourcesis hereby authorized to control and develop the area so leased and to enterinto sublease agreements on terms as may be authorized in the original leaseagreement. All proceeds obtained from any sublease agreement shall be usedexclusively for the further development of the Nutbush Conservation Area.
