§ 143‑215.109. Control of complex sources.
(a) The Commission shall by rule establish criteria forcontrolling the effects of complex sources on air quality. The rules shall setforth such basic minimum criteria or standards under which the Commission shallapprove or disapprove any such construction or modification. The rules shallfurther provide for the submission of plans, specifications and such otherinformation as may be necessary for the review and evaluation of proposed ormodified complex sources.
(b) If the Commission shall determine that the construction ormodification of any complex sources will result in a violation of ambient airquality standards or interfere with the attainment of such standards in anyarea where an air pollution abatement control program has been established, theCommission shall have authority to disapprove such construction or modificationor to approve such construction or modification under such conditions as theCommission shall deem necessary or appropriate.
