§ 14‑227. Failing toattend as witness before legislative committees.
If any person shall willfullyfail or refuse to attend or produce papers, on summons of any committee ofinvestigation of either house of the General Assembly, either select orcommittee of the whole, he shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor and finednot less than five hundred dollars ($500.00) nor more than one thousand dollars($1,000).
