§14‑113.6. Penalties for violation; civil action.
(a) Any personviolating any of the provisions of this Article shall be guilty of a Class 2misdemeanor. However, if the offense is a violation of G.S. 14‑113.5 andinvolves five or more unlawful telecommunication devices the person shall beguilty of a Class G felony.
(b) The court may, inaddition to any other sentence authorized by law, order a person convicted ofviolating G.S. 14‑113.5 to make restitution for the offense.
(c) Any person orentity aggrieved by a violation of G.S. 14‑113.5 may, in a civil actionin any court of competent jurisdiction, obtain appropriate relief, includingpreliminary and other equitable or declaratory relief, compensatory andpunitive damages, reasonable investigation expenses, costs of suit and anyattorney fees as may be provided by law.
