§136‑184. Reports by Department of Transportation.
(a) The Department ofTransportation shall develop, and update annually, a report containing acompletion schedule for all projects to be funded from the Trust Fund. Thereport shall include a separate schedule for the Intrastate System projects,the urban loop projects, and the paving of unpaved State‑maintainedsecondary roads that have a traffic vehicular equivalent of at least 50vehicles a day. The annual update shall indicate the projects, or portionsthereof, that were completed during the preceding fiscal year, any changes inthe original completion schedules, and the reasons for the changes. TheDepartment shall submit the report and the annual updates to the JointLegislative Transportation Oversight Committee.
(b) The Department ofTransportation shall make quarterly reports to the Joint LegislativeTransportation Oversight Committee containing any information requested by theCommittee. The Department shall provide the Committee with all informationneeded to determine if funds available under the Trust Fund and theTransportation Improvement Program are being spent in accordance with G.S. 136‑17.2A.(1989, c. 692, s. 1.1; 1993, c. 321, s. 169.2(e).)
