§ 131E‑75. Title; purpose.
(a) This Article shall be known as the "Hospital LicensureAct."
(b) The purpose of this article is to establish hospitallicensing requirements which promote public health, safety and welfare and toprovide for the development, establishment and enforcement of basic standardsfor the care and treatment of patients in hospitals.
