§130A‑63. Engineers to provide plans and supervise work; bids.
(a) The sanitarydistrict board shall retain engineers licensed by this State to providedetailed plans and specifications and to supervise the work undertaken by thedistrict. The work or any portion of the work may be done by the sanitarydistrict board by purchasing the material and letting a contract for the workor by letting a contract for furnishing all the materials and doing the work.
(b) All contracts forwork performed for construction or repair and for the purchase of materials bysanitary districts shall be in accordance with the provisions of Article 8,Chapter 143 of the General Statutes which are applicable to counties andmunicipal corporations.
(c) All work done shallbe in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the engineers inconformity with the plan adopted by the sanitary district board. (1927,c. 100, s. 19; 1957, c. 1357, s. 1; 1977, c. 544, s. 1; 1983, c. 891, s. 2.)
