§125‑11.10. Duties of State agencies.
(a) State agenciesshall send the requested number of copies of each of their publications to theClearinghouse within 10 days of issuance.
(b) The head of eachState agency shall designate a publications officer who shall be responsiblefor supplying the requested number of copies of each State publication of thatagency to the Clearinghouse. Each agency shall notify the Clearinghouse of theidentity of its publications officer before October 1, 1987, and within 30 daysof any change of publications officer. The publications officer shall supplythe Clearinghouse semiannually a complete list of the agency's Statepublications issued within the previous six months and any other informationregarding the publications of the agency requested by the Clearinghouse.
(c) State agencies mayrequest permission from the State Library to submit fewer than the requestednumber of copies of a document. The request shall include information on thecost of the document and the projected public interest in the document. (1987,c. 771, s. 2.)
