§122A‑5.10. Housing Coordination and Policy Council; creation; duties.
(a) There is createdthe Housing Coordination and Policy Council in the Office of the Governor. TheHousing Coordination and Policy Council shall have the following functions andduties:
(1) To advise theGovernor regarding the coordination of various public and private low‑and moderate‑income housing programs;
(2) To advise theGovernor in the preparation of an overall, comprehensive State housing planwith specific recommendations to address identified areas of need, which reportshall be presented to the General Assembly;
(3) To advise theGovernor with respect to the best use of housing resources; and
(4) To advise theGovernor regarding any other matter relating to housing the Governor may referto it.
(b) Nothing hereinshall abrogate the existing statutory responsibility of any other agency todevelop housing plans and policies relating to specific housing programs. (1993,c. 321, s. 305(d).)
