§120‑17. Appearance before committee.
Every person desiring toappear either in person or by attorney to introduce testimony, or to offerargument for or against the passage of an act or resolution, before anycommittee of either house of the General Assembly, shall first make applicationto such committee, stating in writing his object, the number and names of hiswitnesses, and the nature of their testimony. If the committee consider theinformation likely to be important, or the interest of the applicant to begreat, they shall appoint a time and place for hearing the same, with suchlimitations as may be deemed necessary.
