§ 115C‑71. Districts formed from portions of contiguous counties.
School districts may be formed out of contiguous counties by agreementof the county boards of education of the respective counties subject to theapproval of the State Board of Education. Rules for the organization, supportand operation of districts so formed are subject to the agreement of the boardsof education concerned, and as a guide to the working out of such agreementsthe formulas contained in G.S. 115C‑510 should be followed as far asapplicable.
