§ 115C‑102.6D. Establishment of the State School Technology Fund; allocation and use of funds.
(a) There isestablished under the control and direction of the State Board of Education theState School Technology Fund. This fund shall be a nonreverting special revenuefund consisting of any monies appropriated to it by the General Assembly andany monies credited to it under G.S. 20‑81.12 from the sale of SchoolTechnology special license plates.
(b) Funds in the StateSchool Technology Fund shall be allocated to local school administrative unitsas directed by the General Assembly. Funds allocated to each local schooladministrative unit shall be credited with interest by the State Treasurerpursuant to G.S. 147‑69.2 and G.S. 147‑69.3.
(c) Repealed by SessionLaws 2009‑451, s. 7.31, effective July 1, 2009.
(d) No local schooladministrative unit may access technology‑related funds until the StateBoard of Education has approved its school technology plan. (1993 (Reg. Sess., 1994), c.769, s. 19.26(b); 1997‑484, s. 7; 2009‑451, s. 7.31.)
