§ 114‑4.2. Assistant attorneys general and other attorneys to assist Department ofTransportation.
The Attorney General is authorized to appoint from among his staff suchassistant attorneys general and such other staff attorneys as he shall deemadvisable to provide all legal assistance for the State highway functions ofthe Department of Transportation, and such assistant attorneys general andother attorneys shall also perform such additional duties as may be assigned tothem by the Attorney General, and shall otherwise be subject to all provisionsof the statutes relating to assistant attorneys general and other staffattorneys. There shall be appropriated from the State Highway Fund such sum asmay be necessary to pay the salaries of said assistant attorneys general andother attorneys and necessary secretaries. The Department of Transportationshall provide adequate office space, equipment and supplies.
