§ 113A‑170. Violation a misdemeanor; injunctive relief.
Any person, firm, corporation or association placing or erectingoutdoor advertising structure or junkyard along the Blue Ridge Parkway inviolation of this Article or a rule adopted under this Article shall be guiltyof a Class 1 misdemeanor. In addition thereto, the Department of Environmentand Natural Resources may seek injunctive relief in the superior court of thecounty in which the said nonconforming outdoor advertising is located andrequire the outdoor advertising to conform to the provisions of this Article ora rule adopted under this Article, or require the removal of the saidnonconforming outdoor advertising.
