§ 113‑39. Licensefees for hunting and fishing on government‑owned property unaffected.
No wording in G.S. 113‑307.1(a), or any other North Carolinastatute or law, or special act, shall be construed to abrogate the vestedrights of the State of North Carolina to collect fees for license for huntingand fishing on any government‑owned land or in any government‑ownedstream in North Carolina including the license for county, State or nonresidenthunters or fishermen; or upon any lands or in any streams hereafter acquired bythe federal government within the boundaries of the State of North Carolina.The lands and streams within the boundaries of the Great Smoky MountainsNational Park to be excepted from this section.
