§ 106‑519. Commissioners may refuse to license shows within five miles.
The county commissioners of any county in North Carolina in which thereis a regularly organized agricultural fair may refuse to allow any circus,menagerie, wild West show, dog and pony show, or carnival show, to exhibitwithin five miles of such fair from its beginning to its ending: Provided, thatnotice is given the sheriff by the commissioners of said county not to issuesuch license to said entertainments 60 days prior to the date of suchexhibition.
