§1‑62. Action by purchaser under judicial sale.
Anyone given possession undera judicial sale confirmed, where the title is retained as a security for theprice, is the legal owner of the property for all purposes of bringing suitsfor injuries thereto, after the day of sale, by trespass or wrongfulpossession, in the same manner as if the title had been conveyed to him on dayof sale, unless restrained by some order of the court directing the sale; andthe suit brought is under the control of the court ordering the sale.
