§1‑432. Action on sheriff's bond.
If a judgment is recoveredagainst the sheriff, upon his liability as bail, and an execution thereon isreturned wholly or partly unsatisfied, the same proceedings may be had on theofficial bond of the sheriff, to collect the deficiency, as in other cases ofdelinquency.
