§1‑118. Effect on subsequent purchasers.
From the cross‑indexingof the notice of lis pendens only is the pendency of the action constructivenotice to a purchaser or incumbrancer of the property affected thereby; andevery person whose conveyance or incumbrance is subsequently executed orsubsequently registered is a subsequent purchaser or incumbrancer, and is boundby all proceedings taken after the cross‑indexing of the notice to thesame extent as if he were made a party to the action.
