141.00 - State comptroller to prescribe form of debt statement.

§  141.00  State  comptroller to prescribe form of debt statement.  a.  The state comptroller shall prescribe the form of  debt  statements  and  may  require  that  there  be  submitted with such statements such other  information as he deems appropriate.    b.  The  state  comptroller  shall  prepare  printed  forms  of   debt  statements   and   shall   make   them  available  for  distribution  to  municipalities, fire districts and school districts.    c.  Notwithstanding  the  provisions  of  any  other  law,  the  state  comptroller  shall furnish to any person upon request a copy of any debt  statement filed in  his  office  pursuant  to  the  provisions  of  this  chapter, upon prepayment of the following fees:    1. For a copy of any such statement, one dollar and fifty cents;    2. For a certified copy of any such statement certified under the seal  of his office, two dollars;    3. For an exemplified copy of any such statement, three dollars;    4.  For  a  copy,  a certified copy or an exemplified copy of any debt  statement, an additional fee shall be charged at the rate of  ten  cents  per  folio for all folios in excess of ten folios for matter in any such  statement showing the date, type, amount,  and  object  or  purpose,  of  obligations  authorized  to  be  issued  but  which in fact had not been  issued as of the date of preparation of such statement.    Any such fee shall be fifty cents less for a certified or  exemplified  copy  of any such debt statement if a previously prepared typewritten or  photographic copy shall  be  presented  to  the  state  comptroller  for  certification  or  exemplification.  The state comptroller shall make no  charge for searching for any such debt statement if  and  when  a  copy,  certified  copy,  or exemplified copy of the debt statement searched for  is furnished to the person making such request.    Except as above provided, the state comptroller shall charge a fee  of  one  dollar  for  searching  for  any debt statement filed in his office  pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
