Section 65-6-5 - Applicability of act.

65-6-5. Applicability of act.

Upon the effective date of the Ambulance Standards Act [65-6-1 NMSA 1978] all ambulances operating in New Mexico, except those excluded in Section 6 [65-6-6 NMSA 1978], shall be issued a three-year certificate of public convenience and necessity by the state corporation commission [public regulation commission].
