46:16-4.1. Certified copy of petition in bankruptcy, decree of adjudication or order approving trustee's bond; notice; where recorded; indexing
There may be recorded in the office of the county clerk or register of deeds and mortgages of any county, as the case may be, a certified copy under the seal of any court of bankruptcy of the United States of any petition in bankruptcy with the schedules omitted, decree of adjudication in bankruptcy, or order approving the bond of the trustee of a bankrupt, and any such certified copy of petition, decree of adjudication or order approving the bond of the trustee, when so recorded shall be constructive notice to any purchaser, mortgagee or lienor of real estate of the bankrupt in such county of such petition, adjudication or appointment of trustee and of the pendency of proceedings against said bankrupt in said bankruptcy court. Any such certified copy shall be recorded in a book called "deeds," as provided by section 46:19-1 of the Revised Statutes, and shall be indexed by the name of the bankrupt under "grantors" and by the name of the trustee in bankruptcy under "grantees."
