Section 420-D:24 Cease and Desist Orders.
If it appears that any person subject to this chapter has engaged or is about to engage in acts violating this chapter or any rule adopted pursuant to it, the commissioner may issue an order to cease and desist and bring court action to enforce compliance or enjoin such action. Upon proper request, a court may issue a permanent or temporary injunction, restraining order, or writ of mandamus, and a receiver or conservator may be appointed for the defendant or the defendant's assets. The commissioner shall not be required to post bond.
