Section 408:5 Agents.
A person who solicits insurance on behalf of a life insurance company, or transmits for a person other than himself an application for a policy of life insurance to or from such company, or offers or assumes to act in the negotiation of such insurance, shall be deemed a life insurance agent, and shall be liable to all the duties, requirements, liabilities, and penalties to which such agents are subject.
