Section 284:20-a Rights Protected.
No licensee conducting a race or meet under this chapter, no member of the state racing commission, no steward, judge, or assistant official appointed to act as such pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, shall be liable for damages to any person, association or corporation for any cause whatsoever arising out of or from the performance by such licensee, commissioner, steward, judge or assistant official of such person's duties and exercise of discretion with respect to such duties, so long as such person acted in good faith, without malice or improper motive.
