Section 275:40 Penalties.

Any employer who violates any provision hereof, or who discharges or in any other manner discriminates against any employee because such employee has made a complaint to his employer, the labor commissioner, or any other person, or instituted, or caused to be instituted any proceedings under or related to this subdivision, or has testified or is about to testify in any such proceeding, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
