Section 430:10 State Committee.
There is established a state committee on mosquito control to govern over the 6 regions of the state and their respective mosquito control districts. The committee is composed of the state entomologist, the executive director of the fish and game department, the director of the division of forests and lands, the director of the division of parks and recreation, the commissioner of the department of environmental services, the commissioner of the department of health and human services, and a representative of the pesticide control board. Any member may be represented by a deputy or by some other person designated by the member, in writing. The committee shall provide oversight and coordination of interagency efforts with regard to mosquito prevention and control, and in particular to provide recommendations to the commissioner of the department of health and human services regarding, but not limited to, public health threat determinations under RSA 141-C:25. The members of the committee shall serve without salary, but may be reimbursed for expenses incurred while doing the work of the committee. The state committee shall be known in this subdivision as ""the committee.'' The division of public works of the department of transportation, known in this subdivision as ""the department'', shall serve as the fiscal agent for the committee. The functions of the department in this respect shall be performed by a member of the division designated by the commissioner of transportation.
