Section 151-C:2-a Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.
An ambulatory surgical facility may provide beds or other accommodations for the overnight stay of up to 5 patients not to exceed 24 hours from the time of admission. Thereafter, an individual patient shall be discharged in an ambulatory condition or shall be transferred to a health care facility. The rules adopted pursuant to 1996, 299:4 regarding quality and safety standards for overnight beds in ambulatory surgical facilities shall remain in effect.
