Section 21-I:19-c Interagency Energy Efficiency Committee.
The interagency energy efficiency committee (IEEC) is established to evaluate energy performance contracts, which shall include but not be limited to, shared savings contracts and positive cash flow financing agreements. It shall consist of the director, governor's office of energy and community services; the commissioner, department of administrative services; the commissioner, department of transportation; or their designees; one member from the minority party and one member from the majority party from the science, technology and energy committee, appointed by the speaker of the house. A majority vote of the committee members present and voting shall be required before an agency may proceed to implement such contracts and agreements. The director of the governor's office of energy and community services shall serve as IEEC chairman, and the IEEC's necessary staff and resources shall be drawn from the governor's office of energy and community services.
