581.500 - Creation; number, appointment and qualifications of members.

581.500  Creation; number, appointment and qualifications of members.

      1.  The Advisory Council on the Metric System, consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor, is hereby created within the State Department of Agriculture.

      2.  The Governor shall appoint:

      (a) One member from business.

      (b) One member from the engineering profession.

      (c) One member from a trade organization.

      (d) One member from industry.

      (e) One member from a labor organization.

      (f) One member from the faculty of a university in the Nevada System of Higher Education.

      (g) One member from the faculty of a public elementary or secondary school.
