483.349 - Placement of designation on license issued to person with disability which limits or impairs ability to walk.

483.349  Placement of designation on license issued to person with disability which limits or impairs ability to walk.

      1.  Upon the application of a person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk, the Department shall place on any driver’s license issued to the person pursuant to the provisions of this chapter a designation that the person is a person with a disability. The application must include a statement from a licensed physician certifying that the applicant is a person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk.

      2.  For the purposes of this section, “person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 482.3835.
