483.865 - Placement of designation on card issued to person with disability which limits or impairs ability to walk.

483.865  Placement of designation on card issued to person with disability which limits or impairs ability to walk.

      1.  Upon the application of a person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk, the Department shall place on any identification card issued to the person pursuant to NRS 483.810 to 483.890, inclusive, a designation that the person is a person with a disability. The application must include a statement from a licensed physician certifying that the applicant is a person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk.

      2.  For the purposes of this section, “person with a disability which limits or impairs the ability to walk” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 482.3835.
