433A.350 Information to be furnished to client upon admission.
1. Upon admission to any public or private mental health facility, each client of the facility and the client’s spouse and legal guardian, if any, must receive a written statement outlining in simple, nontechnical language all procedures for release provided by this chapter, setting out all rights accorded to such a client by this chapter and chapters 433 and 433B of NRS and, if the client has no legal guardian, describing procedures provided by law for adjudication of incompetency and appointment of a guardian for the client.
2. Written information regarding the services provided by and means of contacting the local office of an agency or organization that receives money from the Federal Government pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §§ 10801 et seq., to protect and advocate the rights of persons with mental illnesses must be posted in each public and private mental health facility and provided to each client of such a facility upon admission.
