252.180 Restrictions on presentation of claims against county. No district attorney, except for his or her own services, shall be allowed to present any claim, account or demand, for allowance, against his or her own county, or in any way to advocate the relief asked on the claim or demand made by another.

NRS 252.190 Penalty for malfeasance in office or neglect of duty. The district attorney may be prosecuted for malfeasance in office, or neglect of duty, and shall be punished for a gross misdemeanor and as provided in NRS 197.230.
