7-2-2605. Notice and conduct of election. (1) Notice of an election for removal of a county seat, clearly stating the object, must be given and the election must be held and conducted and the returns made in all respects in the manner prescribed by law in regard to the submitting of questions to the electors of a locality under the general election law at a regular or primary election.
(2) In voting on the question, each elector must vote for the place in the county which the elector prefers by placing the mark X opposite the name of the place.
