Definitions.
701.010. As used in sections 701.010 to 701.020, unless thecontext clearly requires otherwise, the following terms mean:
(1) "Hazardous locations", those structural elements, glazedor to be glazed:
(a) In residential, industrial, commercial and publicbuildings, commonly known as interior and exterior framed orunframed glass entrance doors; and
(b) Commonly known as sliding glass doors, including bothfixed and sliding panels, storm doors, shower doors, and bathtubenclosures located in residential buildings and other structuresused as dwellings, industrial buildings, commercial buildings,and public buildings;
(2) "Safety glazing material", any glazing material,including but not limited to tempered glass, laminated glass,wire glass or rigid plastic, and which is so constructed, treatedor combined with other materials as to minimize the likelihood ofcutting and piercing injuries resulting from human contact withthe glazing material.
