Fees and charges, collected when.
622.230. 1. No fees shall be charged or collected for copies ofpapers, records or official documents furnished to public officers for usein their official capacity, or for the annual reports of the division inthe ordinary course of distribution, but the division may fix reasonablecharges for publications issued under its authority. All fees charged andcollected under this section shall be paid, at least once each month,accompanied by a detailed statement thereof, to the state director ofrevenue.
2. All fees collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited tothe credit of the fund of the division from which the expenses offurnishing the copies listed in this section are paid and shall be used bythe division to offset such expenses.
